A restless innovator, his penetration of lithographic and coloristic possibilities are at once the means and allegory for his bold and unabashed explorations into the lights and shadows of human nature. For the collector seeking the innocuous, the works of Valdés de Hoyos are not recommended.

The exhibit MEXICAN PRINTS the Kyron Tour of the Asian Pacific Rim 1995-1998 consists of sixty-two images by seventeen Hispanic-American Artists made in collaboration with KYRON from 1972 to 1995.  It is the up-dated version of The KYRON Twentieth Anniversary Exhibition presented in the Caribbean and South America from 1992 to 1993.  Both exhibitions traveled under the auspices of the Mexican Foreign Ministry (Secretaría de Relaciones Exteriores).  Although originally scheduled to visit a handful of Asian capitals, the KYRON Exposition has visited twelve museums in nine cities in seven Asian countries. The Asian and American tours together have visited eighteen museums in fifteen cities in twelve countries. There is talk of The KYRON World Tour.
